Children and teens often feel misunderstood and not heard. At Suda Centers, our clinicians help children talk about feelings and help them work through issues that may be causing conflict in their lives. Counselors provide positive affirmations and support kids as they learn these skills. In therapy, children will build self-confidence and begin to hone in on their strengths.
Teens are faced with a myriad of pressures. School, peers, and a desire to fit in is often the cause of pain during those years. Having a supportive, trusting space that is their own allows kids to explore who they are without feeling judged or having to please others. This space helps teens learn to respond to their environments rather than acting out from impulse.
Therapy sessions can build healthy habits and patterns of thinking.
